Leaving on a Steam Liner

One of the things that for most of my life has been completely impractical but nevertheless super desirable is the idea of having an awesome luggage set. I've always thought it would be a sorta if you buy luggage the trips will come sorta thing. Because then I would be obligated to travel, right? So today when Design Sponge posted these beauts....my heart melted. And while it would be a good while before I would obtain these if I ever do, I was expecting them to be way more outrageously expensive than they are. I mean seriously, SteamLine Luggage, I have my Grandpa Jones' steam trunk in storage waiting to come out (that before I got married and had to store it served as my dresser for a number of years). I think these are right up my alley. Maybe someday I will go on a Steam Liner adventure with awesome luggage by my side.

*and couldn't you just see my dad toting the Explorer series off to Mexico? Well i could.

I saw these yesterday and had the exact same thought. Well..except my Dad going off to Mexico with one--he couldn't pull it off. I want them all!

I want those! So cute! Everyone needs good luggage in case they have to go to an island and their boat sinks cause then they can make a raft out of their awesome luggage and survive to take on a volcano.

I love the idea. These suit the traveling aspect of my dream for all of society to revert back to pre-1950 fashion. Men always wear suits and women all dress to the nines. And the hats. Everyone will wear hats.
