Sometimes I need to read the label

This morning I did something really stupid. That about sums it up.

Okay, okay, I will expound a tad. So it's not a certain time of the month and yet my body thinks it is and I am suffering the subsequent pains relating to that......stuff. I get to work this morning and in my eagerness to alleviate my discomfort reach in my purse and grab one of the individually packaged blue pills that I has thrown in there yesterday. I pop it in, take a chug of my 32 ounce DC. (Yes at 8am, but it's not that time of month but kinda is, remember? Totally justifiable). And as I swallow, I notice a slight effervescent sensation. There is a pause as it all takes time to register. I look in my trash to find the disgarded wrapper and slowly turn over the packet that once held the 2 blue pills to reveal the label.

Yeah, wasn't so much the pain reliever I thought as it was Tylenol Cold Nightime.

Needless to say.....I'm sitting at my desk, and I am drowsy. And kinda high. Sure glad they don't do random drug testing at work. That being said, I'm not so sure that random drug tests usually screen for sleep inducing decongestants. But you never can be too careful. Which is why you should always read the label first.

In other news, remember that time that I had a rental car for way too long? Well, I just got a check in the mail back from Enterprise for $7.96. Talk about adding insult to injury. Still, if all I gained from that is a lunch and the knowledge that one should never buy a PT Cruiser, it makes it all worth it.

Stupid stupid stupid. And I don't even have a cold.

What I do have? Cramps. There. I said it.

Oh darling! I am SOOOO sorry! I hate cramps, especially ones that aren't supposed to be there. At least Enterprise bought you lunch today, or made it seem like that. :) I hope you start feeling better!!!

I am pretty sure drugs make work better. . . or life better. Just block the world out and feel good.

At least that's what my clients tell me, if course their teeth have rotted out and they've lost custody of their kids. But maybe they are on to something?

Cramps? Have you been running extensively? I don't understand. OH! Sorry, my ladyfriend just informed me about...I'm sorry. I hope that you feel better soon. I also hope that you enjoyed your day at work with a good buzz going. We've all been there. Right?

Oh, don't bore me with your tales of hitting the bottle as late as 8 am. Let's talk when you have to snuggle the vending machine before your first client at 6 am. And thats EVERY.DAY. Not just when I have cramps.
