The Summit Group

Question: Where can you watch the Jared the Subway spokesperson get tipsy in SLC? Well, at the Summit Group open house for one. A PR firm that moved into an incredible new space (and happens to have Subway as one of their clients). Thanks to the lovely people that work there, I had the pleasure of being the photo coverage for the evening. Their new office in the renovated historic United Electric building in downtown SLC is pretty much amazing. And I love that they kept the design of the original United Electric sign. It was great fun for me to photograph, especially since I have been wanting to get into more event coverage such as this one. I could get used to this.

PS....I finished editing the photos from this event at 3:38 this am. And am pretty much dead. Not as young as I used to be apparently. But I did watch all of the second season of The Office so all in all.....worth it.

Question: Did you start your blog like this because you were watching Dwight on The Office?

Question: Which bear is better?

Question: Where would one find your photography?

Question: Is this annoying? (that must be why they have Dwight do it)

Umm...wasnt intended to be Dwight-esque, but I'm pretty sure I did do it subconsciously. Because I may or may not be in love with him.

He's my fall back if things don't work out with Jim.

One would find my photography on the sidebar under SJP. It's an acronym, I like to be cryptic like that. And the site is in sore need of an update.

I know one of the owners of the Summit Group, and he's a great guy. I'll bet they're good to work for.

Been looking through your blog. I knew I liked you.

Freaks and Geeks rules! I've long bemoaned its one season of genius. I've read a book by the creator. It's pretty funny too.

Oh, and are you holding out on me? You seem to have more than one eligible man commenting on your blog. We'll discuss this at a later date.

Yay!!! I get not just one but 2 comments from Miss Lovestrong. My blog has officially arrived.

Not holding out, I'm just not sure where they came from myself.

Thom from Farrah's blog, but Sneakers, not sure who you are....
Though your comments and blog are lovely. Feel free to enlighten us, or at least me.

I have somehow become friends with several employees (past and present) over there at the Summit Group. And they have been great.

I only saw one episode of The Office. It was the convention one...pretty funny. Nice pics, though. I love old buildings. That's what makes the East so great :)

You are a night owl! We're too old for those shenanigans now, like 10 years too old.
And to answer your question, I think David Schwimmer is a good looking man in person. The picture wasn't very good of him.

Beautiful color saturation on your color shots. Is that a special filter, or do you just gravitate toward vibrant subjects? And I love the b&ws of the little curly-headed girl and of the bubbles.

Nice work, there.

Thanks Marie. I do like vibrant subjects. On occasion I play with the color in photoshop, but don't really use filters.

I love the curly headed girl as well. She's my niece. :)

As the father of said curly-haired girl, I agree. She's a cutie. Though a handful and occasional stinker.

Wow! Way to go on getting this job. I adore an old builing, of course, but I especially love that the old United Electric sign has a cheesy 50's era lightning bolt through it and, like you, that they kept it. That rocks my world.
