At a loss....

I know. I know. I'm slacking.

What I don't get is the comments calling me on not posting more frequently when no one comments until days after my last post anyway. You all can do your part. Support the troops if you will. Or in this case, the army of one? I'm just saying. Mom.

But to put you all at ease.......I'm alive. Alive and relatively well. Let's see, I get to go to see the Shins perform this week. So stoked about that. Annnnd......I babysat the sweet little girls on Saturday night. I just love how cuddly lil Gracie is. I hope she never loses that predisposition for affection. Or spontaneously telling me things like "If I wewre a faiwry, my faiwry name would be Aunt Sawrah......no juwst Sawrah"

Or that Maddie just knows everything. Like while we were watching Barbie's 12 Dancing Princesses (I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I kinda get into those). And that when one of the little princesses was playing with her bug collection and lost the caterpillar, Maddie announces that "Caterpillars are an endangered species you know." And I love how Gracie, who thinks her big sister is so smart, asks wide eyed "How dew you know that?". And that Maddie matter of factly explains "Because they're really hard to find."

What I was really thinking while we watched the movie though was how much these girls would adore one Jem and the Holograms. And how cool an aunt I would be if I were to find a copy of the series.

I'm just saying.

If I didn't have to resign in everytime I wanted to comment, I would do it more. Just one more sign of my laziness about life.

Get down!

I absolutely love Maddie-isms!

You know, I first thought those Barbie movies reeked of cheese but now I really like them!
