Happy Birthday Nina!

Oh Nina, my pretty pregnant ballerina......

Happy Birthday! Loves!

Sorry a certain someone gave away your birthday surprise. Love ya Dad!

In other news. I was awakened yesterday by a phone call. It was no surprise as the designated calling people had been trying to get me in to see the bishop for some time, but we kept missing each other. To my surprise, it wasn't for a bishop's interview but to advise me that the bishop wanted me to attend the stake PFR meeting that morning. Seeing how I was asleep seconds earlier, I didn't think to ask what exactly a PFR meeting was. Later, I get a call from someone else to meet with one of the bishop's counselors. And yes, I received a new calling. That of Physical Facilities Rep for the ward (that's when the light bulb appeared....PFR? I get it.). I was advised that I needed to attend the meeting before church. I told him that I already knew that part. He nonchalantly remarks that he knew that I would accept, so he just had them advise me ahead of time. In retrospect, I should have pretended not to accept it. That would have been fun. Anyway, so this new calling is one that they said would take minimal attention so that I could still focus on the ward photography. This meeting told me otherwise. It just so happens that I am the contact for building scheduling for the stake. Amongst other things. Including the fact that I am technically on the activities committee and got shanghaied into helping with our Feed the Flock preparation. So I chopped tons of veggies for some Hawaiian Haystacks instead of going to class. Or RS. Should be fun?

On Friday night I went to Jess' house to babysit the girls and edit some pictures while Jess and Ryan had a date night. When I arrived, Ryan was just finishing up a game of Pretty Pretty Princess with the darlings. There he sat with long dangling plastic pink clip on earrings trying to win more items of jewelry from his daughters....bless his heart. Come to think of it, isn't that just a super girly version of poker? I think so.

Well, princesses are pretty (that's a given) and since all girl's are princesses (see the Little Princess which I happened to watch that night with the girls and always makes me cry) that makes them doubley pretty whilst playing the game.

You'd think it would be obvious.

What a daddy. He willingly wears clip on danglys, huge plastic rings, braclets and necklaces for his girls. They love it and think its hilarious.
