Giddy

K, how sad am I? At church on Sunday, was waiting for my roommate in the institute foyer, and the He-lar-eous (without trying to be) Sunday school teacher who looks and talks like a mix between Steve Zahn and Owen Wilson walked by, waved, turned to keep walking, stopped, looked at me, and after a brief pause came over. He asked "How's it going? I like your style, it's simple, it's cool." All in the same breathe. We then talked about his uncanny resemblance to amusing actors and my slight resemblance to Claire Danes and why on earth someone would tell me that I look like Martha Stewart. He called last night (strictly to answer a question I had, this was not a spontaneous thing because boys just don't call me). And said that he saw Martha on TV the other day and thought of me.

Silly, I know, but that little "I like your style" is just about the best compliment a boy has ever given me (with the exception of the one that gravely disappointed me so those compliments somehow just don't count anymore, but he was a little too good to be true. Watch out for those), and it makes me smile.

Silly Sarah.

Oh look, I'm even more giddy now.

Nina's got some style as well.

yes, right. My style is 'put on whatever I can sort of see or recognize by touch as I get dressed in the dark every morning'.

But you do it with style.
