Happy Anniversary to YOU!

You being my wonderful parents. Check them out in the hot chocolate brown tux and awesome hat. They are quite dashing dontcha think? And still are. I cherish my parents and the great relationship they have. The affection that has always been evident between them has been the best sort of example for me and always gives me such warm fuzzies. They were but youngins here (mom was 18, almost 19) and faced some of the struggles that comes with a young marriage, but have come out on top. With more wisdom and experience than I could ever hope for.

And they're cool. I just linked Dad's Adventure Walker's blog on the sidebar there. Which chronicles just a fraction of their many adventures together. They have taken it upon themselves to spearhead the fabulous Latin American trips that my grandfather started way back when. Check it out.

ps.....yes, i stole the picture from your blog Jess. You totally beat me to the punch.

Cute pair! At least you dad wasn't wrassled into a pink ruffled shirt by his betrothed -- that's what my poor dad had endure. You know you're really in love if you can manage to look blissful in the midst of a 70s fashion nightmare.

The hat is kind of a 70's fashion nightmare. I don't know what I was thinking! Actually a pushy bridal store saleswoman talked me into it by persuading me it was the hottest thing in wedding attire at the time. I think they may have just had hats to move.

yeah, um, happy anniversary!! What a bad daughter I am!!! And I'm sorry, but how can anyone think my wedding dress was anything but beautiful no matter what the fashion trend of the day is. Really, 70's wedding fashion is too much. (Do I sound like a snob,or what?) You look beautiful, mom and dad!!!

It makes me wonder what my children might think of my wedding pictures.
