Crossroads

Have you ever had a sneaky suspicion that you were at a crossroad in life, but you had no idea why, because everything seemed to be normal? Have you ever had a sneaky suspicion that Sarah just might be a little bit crazy? Funny, because I have both. Right now.

Really, every now and then I think I get an itching for some kind of life change, and haven't really had one for awhile. So maybe that's it. But seriously, it feels like a major decision is just around the corner, but I have know clue what it might be. I am pretty certain that I just might be making life more complicated than it needs to be. But Oh badee oh badah life goes on. Whoa.

I have seen two movies in the last two days. Pirates (argh) and Superman. Pirates I had super high hopes for, and wasn't exactly disappointed as the campiness of it was fun and I love my dear Jack Sparrow. And Pirates. But some of it dragged. And there was no closure, but that's to be expected witha third installment to come. Superman, I had heard very mixed reviews on, and so was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the plot, Superman was exceptionally good looking (and I'm not one to overly gush over a goodlooking guy but perfection comes to mind and just might be one of the superpowers that people leave out when speaking of the spandex clad superhero). Not to mention that he was the perfect Superman. A little creepy how perfect. Kevin Spacey was great, Parker Posey I love for her suddle wacky humor, Kate Bosworth? So-so. Cyclops? Got nothing on Superman. I liked it, and will be returning much as Clark Kent did to the Daily Planet as just as we were leaving I noticed that Jordan Commons is playing the film in 3D in their Imax theatre.

In other news, my home now has AC. So I might just have to have a house cooling party.
But it doesn't seem to be working yet (I believe they are finishing today) for some reason our hot water was turned off and the apartment smelled of gas when I got home last night. Just faintly, but nevertheless, I am totally psyched that I woke up this morning.

Yesterday, I found out that the intense pain in my ear was not a tumor, but rather a really bad ear infection. So bad that my nifty midwife/RN at the clinic had everyone else come take a gander at what a bad ear looks like. I've never had so much as an earache before. That I recall. So I purchased my antibiotics and am on my way to recovery (and what is with my health this past year, I never used to get sick). So I took part of the afternoon off to "rest" which ended up including accompanying Courtney to Provo so that Bob could give us a tour of BYU (that's his job). We got to ride a nifty cart and learned much about the school in various accents. My favorite portion was delivered a la lifestyles of the rich and famous.

That's all.

take some probiotics when you are done with those antibiotics. Yes, that's an order.

Maybe you are about to become a superhero. This is exciting. I can't wait to see what kind you will be.

You should have a house cooling party, that's a really cool idea.

cheesy pun unintended. Really. I just think it would be a great idea for a social event.

I'll come to the house cooling party! Can we wear super hero costumes?

I agree...Superman was pleasantly surprising...very cute and perfection as a Superman.

I hope you feel better Sarah. Your wedding pictures are beautiful. I love these prism ones. love the purple swirl glass with sunshine through it. great job!

"Suddle" A word sometimes mistaken for "subtle" found on blogs and in other locations where is suddley slips silently in.

Thanks to you all! Your comments, spelling corrections, good will, etc. I need to get in the habit of using spellcheck on my posts again. Obviously.

And yes, Kim, you can wear superhero costumes. In fact, I encourage it.

Hmmm...I'm trying to think of which superhero I want to be at your house cooling party...

I want to go on that tour with the whole tour in the style of "lifestyles of the rich and famous"...it would give me a whole new perspective to BYU. Not that I need one, but you know...poor student, blah, blah, blah....

I'm glad you woke up this morning too!
