the Olympics remembered...

The night of the women's finals in figure skating. I still recall the anticipation and eager hopes for the US hopefuls. Courtney and Bob came over to Jess' house and we all sat huddled on Jess' bed. (Their bedroom is like the living room. Bob thought it a little strange, but there's better reception in there). As we sat and intently discussed the scores of the skaters, Ryan came up from his office, peered into the room with a confused look as he did not know that anyone was in his home. He asked "What are you guys doing?" Jessica replied, watching the figure skating finals. He said "Oh" and turned to leave the room. As he walked down the hall he yelled back, "I'm watching the same thing downstairs, only it's called something different.....it's Skating with the Stars." And what's even better is that it wasnt a lie folks.
