Last night I officially attended my first caucus. It was interesting. I was one of 6 people in attendance, and not even my precinct! How bout that? A friend asked me to go with him, he lives nearby, but apparently we live in different precincts. Who knew? And it's an off year for elections, so no big stuff going down. It was interesting, however, to learn a little more about the process from the, say, grass roots level?
(I pretend to be involved and ultra informed, when in fact I am not. Okay, maybe more so than some others, but I felt all citizen-doing-my-duty-even-if-it-is-in-the-wrong-precinct like.....)
