That's right, it's that time of year again. I thought I would take a moment to find the perfect greeting/image/sentiment that would express how much I felt for those dearest to me. And then I found this card. Does anyone else find this disturbing?
Because it doesn't exactly give me warm fuzzies.
All the same, look at the butterfly winged darlings holding pieces of the flaming heart and know that you are loved. By me.
Yeah, I really just don't get it.

Ha! that's hilarious.
i feel that way about lots of Victorian Valentine art...and you guys should know me by now that i love all that cupid stuff, etc. But there are so many images that are downright creepy. Hearts that are on fire or bleeding, innocent looking (nearly naked) children carrying around bows and arrows....it is disturbing. On that happy note...Happy Valentine's day!
The true depiction of love. I am reminded of the Janis song, Take another little piece of my heart now baby... except burn. Burn another little piece of my heart now baby. Or what IS going on in that Valentine Greetings?
