The question I ask several times a day....but not as much as, ¿usted sabe su fecha de punto? (do you know your due date?). Yes, so I see and talk to lots of very pregnant woman everyday. My job is going good. I like it. Still much left to learn, but I think the extreme overwhelming sensation has past. the girl that is training me actually had to leave the other day and I managed not to screw things up all by my lonesome. It's a challenge learning five new computer programs, all healthcare confidentiality protocol, and having my spanish challenged, but I like it.
I had to get a blood and TB test the other day as part of my hospital orientation. I warned the nurse about my tendency to react poorly to needles and the like. He gave me an inquisitive look and asked, "what are you doing here in the hospital?" I assured him that I had no medical responsibilities, and he said, "whew, I was going to say, hope your not a surgeon." ha ha
Anyway. so that's it. I'm working and feeling kinda family sick. So anyone can feel free to write or visit me! (hint hint Jess....come home once in a while!)
Love you all!
